Born in Rome in 1994, Edoardo discovered his passion for drums at the age of 13, beginning his formal musical journey just two years later with Pasquale Angelini (drummer for Ennio Morricone) and Emanuela Borzi. Wanting to focus on extreme metal, he began taking lessons with George Kollias (Nile).

In 2016, he joined Italian black-metal-quartet Voltumna, touring Russia, the U.S. and China, as well as appearing at several other European festivals for the promotion of their debut record Disciplina Etrusca. Since 2019, he has collaborated with Bateras Beat, a renowned international music school franchise, where he also teaches drums.

Edoardo’s career reached new heights in 2023, when he was invited at the event Macomer Drumday as a special guest opening for Igor Cavalera. That same year, he joined forces with Spanish black metal band Noctem as a session drummer, and became a permanent member of Italian death metal outfit Hideous Divinity, with whom he has performed at major European festivals, including Lions Metal Fest (France), Laurus Nobilis (Portugal), Hellsinki Metal Fest (Finland), Deathfeast (Germany), and Metal Mine (Poland). He is currently touring Europe with Hideous Divinity as a direct support to Nile (Napalm Records), where he also had the opportunity to play a song with them behind Kollias’ kit.

Over the years he has taken part in masterclasses and clinics with some of the genre’s top drummers, like Raphael Saini, Derek Roddy, Aquiles Priester, Christiano Rocha, Ramon Montagner, Chris Coleman, Mike Johnston, Mike Kapilidis, Francesco Paoli, James Payne, Horacio Hernández and more. He is currently the official drummer of Hideous Divinity, Ade, Voltumna, Instigate, and his solo project Shaula. His session work includes collaborations with Infernal Angels, Nefastoreth, Tractors, Mathematica, Enforces, and Deceptionist, while as a hired studio gun he recorded the 2020 album Segment 8 with Greek metal band Extremity Obsession, and Warhammer’s Ashes and Cinders (2021).
